Besides installing the Copy desktop application, you also need to create an online account, which can be done immediately, on the application's user interface. Copy offers 15 GB of free cloud storage space and you can get more if you pay for a subscription. The application is available for Window, Mac OS X and Linux platforms, as well as iOS, Android and Windows mobile devices.

Once installed, Copy will create a special folder on your hard drive. All you have to do is copy your files to this folder and the application will upload them automatically. The uploaded files can be found in the same folders structure on the cloud and you can access them on your preferred web browser.

If you install Copy on multiple computers or mobile devices and link it with the same account, the application will automatically download your files on those devices. The best part is that you don't have to keep your home computer running, once the files are synchronized. You can store your files in the Copy folder and turn off your computer. The next day, when you turn on your office computer, your files will be downloaded automatically, without any user input.

Uploaded files can be shared with other people, even if they don't have Copy on their own computers. You can generate public share links for individual files or folders or send data to specific users via email.
